Volunteers are a very important part of our organization.

Interested persons, groups, companies and corporations can help. Please call the contact number to notify us of the ways you can help.

Magnificat needs are many:

· Volunteers for our Houses, St Joseph Clubhouse and the Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen.

· Used home and office items such as pots, pans and computers.

· Hygiene supplies; toiletries and dental.

· Financial assistance.

· Food products.

Magnificat House has historically operated in a frugal manner and without benefit of City, State or Federal subsidies. We manage financially by assessing fees from those who become employed, by applying for financial assistance from agencies for those who qualify and by contributions from those permanently disabled residents on Social Security. Contribution amount depends on their needs and the responsibilities they assume in the houses.
We also rely on benefactors in the Community for both financial assistance and voluntary services. Our main source of food provisions comes from the Houston Area Food Bank and USDA commodities.
We know that there are many wonderful charities from which to choose and Magnificat House is grateful for all that you can give, this and every season. Thank you again for your support.
